Gold and White: A popular and stylish palette

Gold foil stamping on our white fabrics is very popular this season.
Whether it’s the fresh and eye-catching shine of gold on bright white linen,
the glammed-up natural look of gold on the neutral coated ecru or the luxurious
shimmer of gold on shimmery metallic pearl, gold foil stamping on white makes a chic and sophisticated statement.  If you’d like to see fabric swatches of these or any other colors please send an email with a list along with your mailing address and we’ll send them right out to you.

  1. Hello Kristin, I just came across your blog and am enjoying it very much! Your work is lovely! May I ask, do you have any advice about foil stamping on book cloth? I'm interested in learning how to stamp onto Arrestox and Cialux book cloth, and I'm having a hard time finding any tutorials/descriptions of this process. If you might point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful! Warm regards, Erika

  2. Erika, I always wished that there were classes and tutorials on foil stamping but I never had any luck finding helpful information. To be honest it has been 10 years of trial and error for me. Every fabric and every foil combination will behave differently so each time I foil stamp something I do many test before hand. Some foils are much easier to work with than others and I've found half the battle is finding those foils. I'd be happy to answer your specific questions if you want to send me an email kristin@kdbooks.com
    Thanks!
