Notched Clamshell Boxes

The notched clamshell design is a more contemporary version of a traditional clamshell box. The “notch” refers to the cutout in the fourth wall of the box tray. While maintaining the self-closure properties of a clamshell box, the fourth notched wall adds a bit of style to the box and stability to its contents. The notch allows for the easy removal of the items in the box.
